Danish Dressage Training
Would you like to learn dressage from the basics onward?
Dressage is:
- Being fair, clear and constant in your demands for your horse.
- Adjusting your requests to the age, level, and temperment of your horse!
- Understanding why your horse reacts the way it does and being able to work with it and not against it!
- Being able to trust that your horse will listen to your aids and react accordingly!
- The discipline that makes all other disciplines of riding easier!
If you train your horse in dressage, you will have a set of basic tools that allows you to control your horse, whether in the dressage arena or out on a trail ride. Your horse will pay more attention to you and react to your aids: weight, legs and hands. I am from Denmark and have been riding mainly dressage from the age of ten. I have:
- taught dressage at all levels, from beginners and up, from the age of 16.
- Worked as a Bereiter for several years in Denmark as well as in the USA.
- Trained with Bereiter Peter Kjellerup, Five Star Farm, PA.
- Ridden horses at all levels of dressage.
- Competed successfully in Keurings, young horse competitions and dressage competitions in Denmark and the United States.
- Trained many "problem horses" successfully.
- Managed barns in Denmark as well as in the USA and as such planned the daily work and show schedules of horses.
- ride/train your horse
- teach you dressage
- do a combination of the above
All horses and all riders are interesting to train/teach. No matter what level you are on, each step forward is a success and gives you and your horse more fun, pleasure and freedom in your riding.
